Chios Energy Field Healing is a new development in energy healing. Chios healing deals with healing within the aura and chakra systems. Energy healing at the auric level can help in many ways. There is a list of Chios teachers who are certified by the Chios Institute so those interested can find a teacher to learn from, and get attunements. Chios requires three attunements, and work through the manuals. Once a student completes the workbook that goes with each manual, he may be attuned to the next level. There are three levels, and once the third workbook is completed, the practitioner can learn to attune others and earn the title of Certified Chios Master Teacher. He or she can be listed on the website, and teach Chios to others.
Attunements and the course are usually done via distance. Distance attunements are equally as valid and strong as in-person attunements. The manuals are extensive, and Chios healing is more like a course of intensive study than Reiki. The Chios practitioner is very involved in the healing process, more than the Reiki practitioner is channeling energy, the Chios practitioner channels and directs the energy to heal each defect in turn. Those wishing to learn Chios will commit to learning a process and practicing its techniques. There is only one version of Chios healing, unlike Reiki, which has hundreds of variations and offshoots. Chios healing is, however, complementary to Reiki practice, and can be used in conjunction with Reiki during a treatment if desired. The Chios practitioner may develop the ability to see auric fields and energy and have higher intuitive abilities as a result of learning Chios.
