Amenities
Each Minnesota LA Fitness center offers the following amenities: cardio machines, weight machines, free weight areas, basketball court, heated indoor lap pool, jacuzzi, sauna and racquetball courts.

Personal trainers, child care and a juice bar are available for an extra fee. LA Fitness’ Kids Klub is the on site child care service and provides supervised games and activities for children ages 3 months and up. Kids Klub hours vary with each location.

Members must supply their own locker padlocks. Towel service is not provided.

Unlike other LA Fitness centers, no Minnesota locations offer an outdoor pool due to the cold climate.

Membership Options
Both family memberships and single memberships are available. All new members are charged a one-time initiation fee. This fee varies with each location. All membership fees are paid monthly via credit card or automatic checking account deduction. Members can terminate their membership at any time without penalty. Your health insurance provider may offer gym membership discounts.

LA Fitness offers a one-day guest pass for prospective members to try out the club, which you can obtain at the LA Fitness website. You must be 18 or older to use the guest pass.

Activities
All Minnesota locations offer a variety of group fitness classes. Spinning, step, hip hop dance and water aerobics are just a few of the classes offered at LA Fitness. Each location has its group fitness schedule posted online at the LA Fitness website. Group fitness classes are included with your membership.

Minnesota locations also offer basketball and racquetball events and leagues. Racquetball events include shootout tournaments, exhibitions by professional racquetball players and demos where members can try out the latest equipment and gear.

Basketball leagues are available at every Minnesota LA Fitness club and are included in your membership. Two leagues are offered: recreational and 35 plus. LA Fitness provides time and score keepers, referees and stats. At the end of each season, prizes are awarded for league winners.

Personal Training
All new LA Fitness members are offered a complimentary one-hour personal training session. This session is more of a club orientation than an actual workout, but the trainer does show the member how to properly use various club equipment.

Beyond the complimentary session, personal training is offered at all Minnesota LA Fitness locations for an additional fee. Members must sign a personal training contract. Personal training sessions are usually one-on-one and 30 minutes in length. Fees vary by trainer and club.
