Advil is the medication I most often rely on for pain relief and headaches. This product is packaged in a blue-green box with white, yellow, red and brown as highlighted colors.
Advil caplets are 200 mg. each and function as a pain reliever/fever reducer (NSAID). The capsules are coated with a rustic brown color. This particular bottle is said to contain 30% more free, which is the equivalent of 15. It usually comes in 50 count portions. A picture of what is very close to the actual size is seen on the front cover. The word caplets is written on a yellow band. The brand name of Advil stands out in a bold yellow.
Three of the side panels give extensive attention to drug facts and warnings to be aware of. This medication is to be used temporarily for the relief of headaches, toothaches, backaches, menstrual cramps and the common cold. It is known to give relief from minor bouts of arthritic pain and reducing fevers. Although Advil is an ibuprofen some people experience similar allergic reactions to that of aspirin products. Some indicators to look for are hives, skin reddening, rashes, blisters and wheezing due to asthma. If that should happen stop using immediately and contact a physician.
Because this product has a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug it may possibly cause bleeding. The chances increase if you are 60 years of age or older, have had stomach or problems with ulcers, or taking this medication longer than recommended.

The outer box container was easy to open providing easy access to the bottle’s contents. The bottle is white in color with the Advil logo glued over it. There is a safety lock with molded arrow icons showing the proper way to manipulate the top for opening and closing. The opening is covered with a gray foil with a wad of cotton positioned underneath. This provides greater security and protection of the product. The caplets are imprinted with the word Advil on each one. They look just as pictured on the outer box. The caplets rest comfortably on each other without the bottle being overstuffed.
Repeated warnings and directions for use are again emphasized on the bottle itself. It is clear that they want you to utilize this product properly. You can never be warned too much.
I have continued using Advil because time after time they have delivered on their promise of giving pain relief when used properly. Although I am not a person who runs to the medicine cabinet for every little ache and pain, I am glad it is there when that pain is somewhat more unbearable. If you strictly adhere to their dosage recommendations I would suggest using it on an occasional basis.
