Since I figured I’d be taking the medication for a few more days, plus it was so much more economical, I purchased a 24 – caplet box of the product at CVS Pharmacy. The price that I paid for one box of Contac Cold + Flu Maximum Strength Caplets was $7.79.
To me, that price seems quite reasonable. It works out to approximately $0.65c per dose.
Effectiveness I am still taking Contac Cold + Flu Maximum Strength Caplets. To be honest, this medication started providing relief shortly after I began taking it. It’s not like I immediately felt great, I just started feeling less sick. I’ve taken it with and without food and have not experienced any discomfort. In my humble opinion, based upon experience, this cold and flu medication is very effective.
Packaging The 24 – caplet box of Contac Cold + Flu Maximum Strength Caplets features 12 plastic bubbles, packaged six to a sheet. Each bubble contains two caplets, which is the average sized dose of this medicine. The white, blue and orange box lists all pertinent ingredient information, warnings, usage information and directions.
The single dose packets are white, with blue and red lettering and a yellow stripe across the front. They also list all pertinent information.
Overall Rating Without a doubt, I would have to say that Contac Cold + Flu Maximum Strength Caplets are effective at providing relief from the symptoms of the flu. The package states that it relieves cold symptoms, also. This product is competitively priced and is regularly stocked and sold at pharmacies across America.
