Blood pressure is the pressure in which your blood travel through its blood vessels. This is similar to water traveling in a hose, if there is nothing obstructing the hose then the water is at normal blood pressure but if there’s a rock at the other end of the hose then the pressure will rise and the hose can pop open just like a vessel poping open when the pressure is too high resulting in a stroke. Blood pressure can be obstructed by fats sticking to the blood vessel wall or any thing else that might erode from the blood vessel wall. Blood pressure can be affected if the heart is not working properly because is the main organ that pumps blood to all the blood vessels.
