If you’re anything like me, you tend to stick to one brand of cigarettes. You stick to a brand, and it becomes something someone can recognize you with. Me, I was always a Marlboro girl. Marb red 100’s to be exact. That is, until Camel released they’re newest edition; Camel Crush. Being the worldly smoker that I am, I needed to at least try these out, menthol or not. Actually, I happen to be smoking one of these very cigarettes as I type. And let me tell you, these are the best cigarettes I’ve ever smoked. The look, the taste, and the dual flavor, all won me over instantly.
First off, the Camel Crush box is just awesome. It’s a chic black with blue and white detail. And the greatest part about the box is that it has rounded edges. That may not sound so great to some, but the usual look and feel of the box really does stand out in people’s minds. Camel did a good job packaging, because anyone can recognize them, even for being so brand new.
Camel Crushes are an innovative take on menthol cigarettes. Straight out of the box, they are a regular cigarette. The taste of the Camel Crushes is already smooth and great tasting. However, inside the filter is a small blue ball filled with liquid menthol. Either before you light up, or anytime between puffs, this cigarette can quickly be changed into a great tasting, refreshing, menthol. On the filter is a small blue camel with blue pressure lines around it. All you have to do is firmly press in this area, where you can feel the ball, and pop it! When you hear a “pop” you know you’ve gotten it. In my experience, rolling the filter around in between your fingers helps to be sure the liquid is completely released. That’s all there is to it. Your cigarette is now menthol. This menthol is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Being as the flavor is in the filter as opposed to the tobacco itself, it’s a lot more refreshing and flavorful, but no overpowering. I personally like to smoke half as a regular cigarette and turn it menthol towards the end to get that fresh flavor in my mouth. Camel Crushes also save me from buying a pack of regulars and a pack of menthols. Sometimes you just want to switch it up, and Camel Crush lets me do that.
Of all the cigarette brands I’ve ever smoked, Camel was never at the top of my list, until now. Camel Crush is fun, new, and fresh! I would recommend then to anyone who loves a good smoke. Whether you smoke regular or menthol, or both, Camel Crush is a great new cigarette for you to enjoy!
