A Product Review of General Mills Chex Mix: The Original Traditional Snack Mix

Chex Mix, General Mills

I love trying tasty snack mixes and when I spotted General Mills Original Chex Snack Mix in my local grocery store’s snack section, I decided to purchase this snack and write a product review about it. Here is what I discovered!

General Mills Chex Mix is pretty affordable. I discovered this product on sale for two dollars and fifty cents. I got a medium sized bag for that price. Each bag has nine servings in it so, that was a decent bargain for a name brand snack mix. Original Chex mix has the traditional snacks in it like pretzels, toasts light and dark, twists and those multi flavored chex snacks that many of us absolutely love! This snack mix has sixty percent less fat in it than regular potato chips. Fantastic! This snack mix has wholesome chex cereal pieces and many very flavorful shapes to snack on and enjoy. Believe me, this snack mix does NOT taste like cereal. You can choose from salty, sweet and salty, honey or chocolate. No kidding.

Ok. General Mills has chex cereal also. Corn chex, rice chex and wheat chex. Hmm. Yes, these are all represented in the chex traditional snack mix. They are very good mixed with pretzels and these little twisty things and the mini toast looking things. No kidding. I really like this snack mix and I rate it five stars out of five stars. After the peanut butter scare, I thank God that there are no peanuts in this product. None! Yay! I live in Georgia, the peanut capital of the world. Sheesh. I have not eaten peanut butter or peanuts in a long time. Sad. I know. Anyway, General Mills Chex Mix is fabulous, delicious and well worth the money that I spent on it. This snack mix is cholesterol free!

This snack is tasty, affordable and delicious. It is also dated for freshness. Chex mix comes in a wide variety of flavors besides traditional/original.
