I recently bought my daughter the Leap Frog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Set for her birthday in January. I had been eyeing the toy for a few months now, but never actually purchased it. The toy comes with an interactive base and all of the letters of the alphabet. All of the letters and the base are magnets in disguise. Why in disguise you may ask because they don’t actually look like magnets which is part of the reason why the toy is so appealing.
The Leap Frog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Set works by placing the letter magnets into the interactive base. Once you press the letter it will automatically say the letter of the alphabet that is being played with. Not only will it tell you what they letter is, but it will also say a cute little jingle and then sound out the letter for your child to hear. There is also another button that when pushed the whole alphabet will be played.
The Leap Frog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Set also comes with numbers. We actually have the one that comes with numbers and I highly recommended purchasing it. I purchased ours at our local Wal-Mart for around nineteen dollars.

She is constantly running around the house counting past ten and has most of her alphabet down. The Fridge Phonics Magnetic Set is a great toy for children of all ages. The package states that the toy is designed for children aged two and up, but it is really great for children a little bit younger than that.
If you are worried about something happening the to the fridge magnets don’t be. Leap Frog has a replacement kit that comes with additional alphabet magnets incase something happens to one of your magnets. This replacement kit can be purchased where most other Leap Frog toys are sold at.
The Leap Frog Fridge Phonics Set is a great educational toy to have in your own home or at your daycare center. With lots of different activities and songs for all of the letters and numbers there is no way that your child wont be having fun while learning at the same time.
