One of the biggest expenses for new parents is the cost of diapers. Many new parents wonder how they can buy cheap diapers without sacrificing quality. As a mother of 4 children I know a lot about saving money on buying diapers. Over the years I have tried almost every diaper brand on the market. I have found many cheap diapers work just as well as the more expensive brands.
1.Berkley & Jensen Premium Diapers
My absolute favorite cheap diapers are Berkley & Jensen premium diapers.
You can buy a huge box of these diapers for about $24.00.
They have velcro tabs and have a soft cloth like cover.
I have never had any problems with leaking.
The only negative is Berkley & Jensen premium diapers are only available at BJ’s wholesale. If you do not already have a membership, the money you will save on these diapers will pay for your yearly membership fees alone.
Use coupons every time You can also save money on diapers by using coupons. Most of the diapers manufactures have a website where you can request coupons. Ask your family if you can sign them up for diaper coupons so they can pass them along to you. You can buy diaper coupons on eBay for fairly cheap. At first buying coupons on eBay may seem strange but, if you consider what you will save it makes perfect sense.
Cloth diapering can save you money
Consider using cloth diapers. The new generation of cloth diapers are nothing like what your mother used. Diaper pins are a thing of the past.Walmart carries Kushies cloth diapers. They cost $49.00 for a 5 pack. The price may seem really high at first but, consider the money you will save on disposable diapers. I used cloth diapers with my first child and after getting accustomed to the routine of washing them, it really is not bad. You can buy cloth diapers on eBay for a discount.
