Bravissimo: Quality Bras for Busty Women

Bra Shopping, Sports Bras

Have you ever gone bra shopping, only to discover that the store doesn’t have anything in your size? Have you tried to buy a button-down blouse, only to discover that the buttons over your bust won’t meet up because it was designed for flat-chested women? There is an answer.

There are thousands of places to buy bras. Most clothing stores sell at least a few. There are entire lingerie stores, like Victoria’s Secret and La Senza, in our malls and shopping centres. Despite the many places that sell bras, online and catalogue companies play a special role in bra sales. Most shops that sell bras only sell up to a D or DD cup. If you are bigger than that, it can be a real challenge to find a bra that fits properly. In the past, I have had some horrible bras, simply because I couldn’t find anywhere with a decent collection in my size.

Then I discovered Bravissimo. Bravissimo has a great website (click here to visit it) and a free catalogue. You can also speak with an actual person over the phone (01926 459 859), and they are also trained to give advice on bra fittings and product information. Although they are mostly an order company, they are opening increasing numbers of stores where you can go in to get fitted and shop. To see if they have a location near you, check their website for a complete list of open and planned shop locations.

The smallest cup size offered by Bravissimo is a D, and they go all the way up to a K cup. (If there is a woman who needs a bigger cup size than that, I haven’t met her yet. I’d recommend that she call Bravissimo to ask about ordering a bigger size than is listed.) They offer a wide range of back sizes as well, which is great for both petite and large women. I often found in traditional stores that I could find either the right cup size, or the right back size, but finding both on one bra was like discovering the holy grail. Not at Bravissimo. They have something to fit every busty women, including maternity, nursing, and sports bras.

Thanks to Bravissimo, the days of horribly ugly supportive bras are gone. Instead they offer a variety of bras that offer great support, but are also sexy. In addition to their own products, they sell respected bra names like Fantasie and Freya (my personal favourite). I’ve ordered several bras from them. They have all been comfourtable, looked good, and offered great support.

Not only do they sell lingerie, Bravissimo also has their own range of clothes designed for busty women. You order not only by clothing, but also by bust size. These clothes guarantee that you’ll no longer struggle to pull clothes over your big bust, and won’t have to struggle to button things either. My top recommendation from their clothes are the strappy vest tops with an integral bra. You can get one with a soft bra for night-wear, or with a full built in underwired bra for the day. They are comfortable and solve the problem of bra straps hanging out. The nightwear one is also great for sleeping in if you or pregnant or breastfeeding and need some extra support at night.

Their delivery is quick and often free, and their returns policy is straightforward and easy. If you don’t like the way something fits, just send it back. So far I’ve never ordered anything that I didn’t like, though.

If you are a large-breasted woman, visit Bravissimo. It will change your life. Or at least your bra shopping.
