8 Hot Clothing Shops in Las Vegas

Bettie Page, Caesar's Palace, Planet Hollywood

Let’s face it, clothes can make or break someone. So when you are in Sin City why would you not want to dress to the 9’s and totally live up the idea that you can reinvent yourself in Vegas? I usually stay at Planet Hollywood when we venture to Vegas, so I normally shop at the Miracle Mile Shops just so I don’t have to carry bags up and down the Strip. I do hit some of the other shops, like the Forum Shops at Caesar’s, but many of the stores are the same. Here are my favorite places to go and spend the money I don’t gamble away.

Fredericks of Hollywood, Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood
This is a great store to go and find some outfits for your nightly activities without spending a fortune. When my husband and I are in Vegas, I make sure to stop in this shop because my otherwise shy hubby will gladly help me pick a few things out. Plus, this store is not overpriced. You can find items ranging in price from $3 to upwards of $100, and the almost always have a sale because the customer base is always changing! Fredericks has great massage oils and similar products as well, just be sure you look through everything in the store!

Bettie Page, Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood
This is another great store to look around in when visiting PH. This store is a bit pricier as well. Bettie Page specializes in nostalgic apparel items. Most pieces are from the 1920’s to 1950’s era. All the clothes are made to resemble the feel of the good old days but with a much sexier feel. Dresses and apparel starts around $60 and can range upwards of $300 for specialty items. This store is a great one to browse through because most of the clothes we have today are inspired by the past. The pieces in this store can mix with almost any style to add that special something.

French Connection UK, Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood
This store remind me of an upscale GAP or Banana Republic. The clothes from FCUK are very chic and will flow flawlessly from going out on the town in Vegas to back home at the office. Items in FCUK average around $100 to $150. For a nice outfit you can expect to pay around $300. If you can find items on sale….it is a total bonus so take full advantage!

Luck Brand Jeans, Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood
Lucky is an American classic. I love this store because of the versatility of the items. I can wear them on the weekends as well as when I go to work. Luck Brand Clothes are more reasonably priced than many of the stores in Vegas. Jeans run around $100 to $150 and shirts average $40. To look at current styles check out www.luckybrandjeans.com.

White House Black Market, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood
This is a great place to look if you wanted to buy your clubbing gear in Las Vegas. WHBM has great tops that are sexy enough to wear out in Vegas but can still be worn with a cardigan to work. This is one of my all time favorite shops because everything is so beautiful!!! These clothes really do make you feel like you look like a million bucks, but you kind of pay for that. Prices here are less than FCUK, tops are usually around $75 to $100 and skirts run about $100 to $150. But, hey, you are on vacation so why not splurge a little?

Caesar’s Palace defiantly has a wider variety of shops, and many of these are upscale boutiques. While I can not afford to shop in many of these, it is fun to wander around and look at all the pretty clothes. When I am wandering around, these are some of my favorite shops that I actually can afford to buy a few things in.

Kate Spade, Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace
I absolutely love Kate Spade handbags and accessories!! I never miss out on a chance to browse this store. These bags range in price from $100 to upwards of $500, but they are so cute I can not resist! While this is a pricey store, keep in mind that after you have used a bag, there is usually someone who will be more than willing to buy it from you on eBay. This is how I can justify spending money on handbags!!

Express, Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace
Express is another must see. Prices in here are similar to Lucky Brand and can be higher on more dressy outfits. But if you are looking for the most comfortable jeans and reasonably priced casual wear, this is the place to go.

Shooz at the Forum, Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace
This is a great place to go and look for shoes. There is a wide variety of shoes to look at and you can sometimes find a good pair of cute shoes for under $50!!! That is a steal when you are shopping at Caesar’s.

When shopping in Vegas, just be aware that you will pay a little bit more for what you want because it is a tourist trap! The only people who shop on the strip is the tourists…I have yet to meet a local who ventures up there for a relaxing day of shopping. But regardless, enjoy yourself, because you really are paying for the experience as well.
