60 Ways to Eat Food on a Stick at the Wisconsin State Fair

Skewers, kabobs and popsicle sticks – oh, my!

The basic corn dog simply isn’t enough anymore, when it comes to Midwestern American state fair foods.

The 2010 Wisconsin State Fair boasted at least 60 varieties of food on a stick, offered by the annual Badger State agricultural extravaganza’s many concessionaires. With more than more than 876,000 visitors attending and indulging in a wide variety of snacks on the run, Wisconsin State Fair food vendors branched out to present a plethora of conveniently packaged items.

Wisconsin State Fair participants forked over big bucks to partake of more than 60 hearty foods, all served on sticks.

(And perhaps the foods-on-a-stick offerings help to explain the increased appearances of inverted grins at the fair each year.)
