10 Remedies for an Itchy Scalp

These are conditions that can be helped through remedies and most of these remedies can be used at home and even the ingredients used to make these remedies can be found at home. You would be surprised the amount of money that can be saved in just using daily ingredients to make an at home remedy for very many things, from diabetes help to itchy scalp help. Just take a look at the list I have gathered to get help with annoying itchy scalp.

Apple Cider Vinegar Mix

This remedy involves mixing three tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar Mix with one cup of warm water. Your first step is to shampoo your hair and then pour the mixture onto your scalp and massage it in. Leave it setting for ten minutes before you wash it out. It will help with the itchy scalp situation.

Tea Tree Oil

This remedy uses both Tea Tree Oil and peppermint oil, just mix a few drops of tea tree old and/ peppermint oil into a warm cup of water. Once you have used shampoo in your hair then used this treatment and then wash out.

Oatmeal

Use ¼ cup of oatmeal and let it soak for 20 minutes and then remove it. After which you will used five drops of lavender and five drops of rosemary and mix the liquids up really well and then place it on your hair for ten minutes and then rinse.

Neem Oil

With this remedy you will mix 1 teaspoon of Neem Oil, 1 teaspoon of Tea tree oil, 1 teaspoon of rosemary oil and 1 teaspoon of lavender oil into three tablespoons of olive oil. Apply this mixture to your hair to your scalp daily and you will feel the difference.

Fenugreek Seeds

This remedy you will find helpful when dandruff has become a problem. First, take two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds and soak them into water overnight. In the a.m. mix the seeds into a fine paste and then apply the paste to your scalp and leave it for half an hour. After which you should wash your hair with a soap-nut solution.

Fresh Lime Juice

With this solution you should take a glass of lime juice and mix it with water. This mixture should be rinsed through your hair real well and the problem of dandruff will be no more.

Ketoconazole

This is a remedy that can be bought from the store in a gel and foam based solution. It is an anti-dandruff shampoo that will help reduce a flaky scalp due to dandruff or ringworm.

Sage Oil Mixture

This remedy uses ten drops of sage oil, ten drops of lemon oil, five drops of basil and fifteen drops of peppermint oil mixed together to make the perfect at home itchy scalp remedy.

Manuka Oil Mixture

Use twenty drops of Manuka (tea tree) oil and five drops of Eucalyptus oil to make a mixture to use after shampooing your hair.

Another Manuka Oil Mixture
Use a half teaspoon Manuka honey, five drops of chamomile and five drops of lavender oil with and half a cup of sage tea. Use this mixture on your head for 10 minutes and then rinse it off.
