10 Must-See Stores at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota

Mall of America

The Mall of America is the USA’s largest mall and a must-stop destination when you’re visiting Minnesota. But some visitors are disappointed upon arrival when they see the standard mall stores inside, such as Gap, Sears, and American Eagle. They might think, “This mall is just like any other mall, except bigger!”

And they’re right – sort of. Sure, the Mall of America has your Express, Macy’s, and Game Stop stores, but there are some unique and interesting stores to check out too. Mall of America can be very overwhelming for a first-time visitor, and if you want to make the most of your trip, you probably don’t want to shop at a store you could find at your hometown mall. Here are 10 Mall of America stores worth checking out.

Mall of America Store #1: Al’s Farm Toys: You’ve never seen a toy store like this! Al’s Farm Toys sells – you guessed it – farm toys. Even if you’re not interested in farming or miniature farm paraphernalia, it’ll be fun to brag to your friends you went to a store called “Al’s Farm Toys.”

Mall of America Store #2 QVC at the Mall: It’s QVC in brick-and-mortar form! Here you can buy some of the same things they hawk on the TV channel. They even have a QVC studio inside the store and occasionally do live, on-site broadcasts! The drawback? The store is very small and they have a very limited selection.

Even if you aren’t planning on buying anything, it’s fun to walk in here to relive the memories, even though the fashions have obviously changed.

It’s definitely worth checking out if you’ve never been to an H&M; before. Or if you need emergency club wear!

Mall of America Store # 6 Nordstrom Rack:
Yes, it’s true – outlet shopping at the Mall of America! But the drawback? If you’re visiting on the weekends and/or if Nordstrom Rack is having a sale, the lines will be wrapped around the store. Here you’ll find everything that Nordstrom sells without the guilt! It’s the place at the Mall of America for bargain hunters, as it is the only outlet store in the mall.
