“Wreck-It Ralph” Themed Party Favors for Kids

Joystick, Space Invaders

Did your family enjoy watching the latest Disney movie, “Wreck-It Ralph?” If so, you may want to consider planning your child’s next birthday party around the topic. In my opinion, it would make a superlative party theme. After all, its storyline and characters are appealing to kids and parents alike. With that said, here’s a rundown on a handful of party favors that would work with such a theme:

Sugar Rush Erasers and Smencils

If you ask me, Sugar Rush Erasers paired with Smencils would make excellent themed party favors. The erasers are scented and feature characters from the movie. The pencils are also scented, so they would work well together. For example, you could put an Adorabeezle Eraser on top of a Razzleberry Smencil or Jubileena Eraser on top of a Cherry Vanilla Smencil. On average, a set of nine erasers will set your finances back about $13. You can purchase them through the Disney store. The Smencils, on the other hand, tend to sell for around $2 each. Oftentimes, you can buy them online through assorted specialty retailers.

Stickers

“Wreck-It Ralph” Stickers would undoubtedly go over well with many of your guests too. The stickers are roughly 2 inches tall and feature full-color graphics of the movie’s characters. Characters often represented include King Candy and Vanellope Von Schweetz. In most instances, a 5 pack of stickers will cost you $1 through select party supply shops. One retailer that sells “Wreck-It Ralph” Stickers is Birthday Direct.

Atari Joystick Controller Gum

Because the movie’s action takes place in a video arcade, you may want to give your guests Atari Joystick Controller Gum. The container looks like a classic Atari 2600 joystick and contains Chiclet style gum. It tends to sell for $5 each through the Perpetual Kid website. The retailer also sells a Retro Arcade Cake Mold. The mold is in the shape of a Space Invaders character, which is just cool in its own right. You could use it to help round out a whole vintage video game theme.

Zipper Pulls

If you ask me, “Wreck-It Ralph” Zipper Pulls would make cute party favors too. They are about 2 inches long and feature full-color characters from the movie. You can typically purchase a dozen of the zipper pulls through specialty retailers like Craft is Art for $13. Of course you could also opt to make your own.

Video Arcade Chocolates

Last but not least, you may want to give your guests chocolates fashioned in the shape of vintage video game characters. There are a handful of vintage video game related candy molds that may be used to create the treats. Some of the game characters currently available in candy mold form are Pac Man, Q-Bert and Space Invaders. There are also companies that make candy molds in the shape of vintage video game controllers. You could make up several different candies and package them inside “Wreck-It Ralph” treat boxes along with a few cupcake rings.
