Worst Las Vegas Hotels for Seniors

Las Vegas Hotels, Planet Hollywood, Vegas Hotels

While writing this article about the worst Las Vegas hotels for seniors, I am assuming some information. I am assuming that the seniors that this article is being read by, or for, would rather spend more time around people their own age. I am also assuming that they are not going to be very interested in loud, ruckus bars and nightclubs, or a bunch of horseplay around the pool. If these appear to fit the qualifications that you are looking for, read on.

Hard Rock

Hard Rock has to lead off the list of the worst Las Vegas hotels for seniors. This Las Vegas hotel was not built with seniors in mind. The casino in here is small to make sure that there is room for all of the clubs that keep coming in and out of this location. I have never heard of a senior staying here, only visiting.

Palms

Similar to Hard Rock, The Palms was built with young people I mind. While they will not discourage seniors from staying on their property, a senior will know right away that this is not the Las Vegas hotel for them. The Palms is known for a party atmosphere that gets going early in the afternoon. Is is by far, one of the worst Las Vegas hotels for seniors.

Planet Hollywood

When Aladdin changed to Planet Hollywood, seniors lost one of their best bets in Las Vegas. Gone is the atmosphere that was known for being welcoming to seniors. It has been replaced by one of the worst hotels for seniors in Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood. They have been trying to compete with Hard Rock and The Palms for being the biggest party destination in Las Vegas.

Hooters

Hooters is next on the list of worst Las Vegas hotels for seniors for good reason. The Hooters hotel and casino is usually packed with young college kids that think that they might have a chance with one of the famous Hooters girls. I am in my mid-thirties and I have felt old on the two times that I headed over to Hooters to see what was going on.

Circus Circus

Rounding out the list of the worst Las Vegas hotels for seniors is Circus Circus. Incidentally, it is my least favorite property in all of Las Vegas. Why do I say this? Circus Circus is geared towards families with kids. Wherever you go in Circus Circus, you are greeted with the sound of screaming children. Not the good kind that brings back a sense of youth, the bad kind that makes you wish that you were harder of hearing.

There are many locations to stay at when you are in Las Vegas. By far, these are the worst if you are a senior, or if you are traveling with a senior. While it might be good to stop into these Las Vegas hotels while you are on vacation, I am sure that a senior would not want to spend too much time in any of these casinos.
