Do you have a pint-sized warrior princess living in your home? Does she long for a Lasso of Truth and a superheroine worthy tiara? If so, you may want to consider throwing her a Wonder Woman themed party this year. Based on my experience, there are plenty of wonderful party favors that would work well with such a theme. Here’s a quick peek at several of them:
Wonder Woman Compact Mirrors
Just because a gal spends all day fighting the forces of evil doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to look good doing it. Hence, you may want to consider giving your party guests a Wonder Woman Compact Mirror. One version of the compact is made of hard plastic and features a full-color, Wonder Woman graphic. The other version of the compact is made of metal and features the words “strength and beauty.” You can typically purchase a 4-pack of the mirrors from specialty retailers for $10 or less.
Wonder Woman Wristbands
In my opinion, every Wonder Woman wannabe should have a set of super bracelets too. After all, how is she going to fend off bullets without them? Thankfully, there are specialty retailers that sell rubber versions of Wonder Woman’s iconic bracelets. The bracelets tend to be 1 inch wide, 8 inches long and sell through specialty shops for around $4 a pair.
Wonder Woman Lapel Pins
Depending on your party guests’ ages, you may want to give them Wonder Woman Lapel Pins. The Wonder Woman Lapel Pins that I am familiar with are 1.5 inches in diameter and features the superheroine’s iconic, double “W.” The pins are often sold through comic book stores and specialty shops. In my experience, a bag of 25 Wonder Woman Lapel Pins is apt to cost you $25. One retailer that carries the pins is Midtown Comics. They also sell Wonder Woman totes, buttons, magnets, stickers and sticky notepads.
If you are looking for an inexpensive party favor, you may want to consider buying a package of Wonder Woman Temporary Tattoos. They are generally available for purchase through select department stores, comic book shops and specialty stores for $5 a package. Each package often contains nine large, temporary tattoos.
Wonder Woman Tiara
Last but not least, Wonder Woman tiaras would make excellent party favors. However, instead of buying ready-made tiaras, I’d suggest that you make your own. It tends to be the cheaper of the two alternatives. In order to make your own Wonder Woman tiaras, you’ll need to purchase tiara band bases from a jewelry making supply shop. Depending on the retailer, the tiara band bases may cost you as little as $1 each. You could opt to complete the tiaras using gold cardstock, glitter and red star stickers. If you have a large party budget, you could also opt to finish creating the tiaras with additional jewelry making supplies. Of course you could also allow the party guests to use the bands to create their own tiaras as part of a party activity. The choice is yours. Ready-made, Wonder Woman style tiaras will tend to cost you $10 each.
