Gift giving for the senior citizens on your gift giving list. They are not to hard to buy for just something simple to show them that you care and you still love them.
For the movie watchers. Buy them comedy movies like Tommy Boy, or Billy Madision, other suggestions are Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Happy Gilmore, or buy them old dvd’s or videos like with old reruns of Lucy, or some other show from the 1940’s or 1950’s. Or even a dvd or video of a old movie like with James Dean, Doris Day , or some other famous actor or actress that they like.
For the game player get them crossword books or even search and find books .The don’t cost a lot and everyone likes doing them. Even books are a great idea. Books about history I enjoy those myself. History from their youth or a book to give them ideas for a project or something to do to keep them from getting bored. Like maybe a book about collecting stamps, or making recipe books, or even collecting figures or statues for there home. Or even books about learning new things like playing the piano, or learning something else new.
Buy them a class to take something interesting. I am sure older people would enjoy taking a class to make something or to learn something new. Like a art class, ceramics, or 2even a self defense class. To protect there selfs from bad people or people that try to harm them.
Even something simple like a homemade reicipe book. Or bake them some cookies or some other dessert that they like to eat. Even a coffee cup with flowers or candy in it will make them in a brigheter mood. Just something to show that you care and that you are there for them when they need you.
Even taking them out to eat somewhere is a great gift for a grand parents. A night on the town eating out would3 be great for them besides sitting at home alone with no one to talk to.
Even clothes like a house coat or a nice night gown for them when they are at home for the evening would be a great gift. Even a nice outfit for them. Or even a nice blouse or dress for them to wear out some wear nice. Or for a grand dad buy him a nice tie or a nice button up shirt to dress up nice in when he has somewhere nice to go to or a nice place to go out to eat. ortake them out to see a movie or out to see some other sort of show.
Or even a gift card for a movie to rent, or buy one for food for a night like at McDonalds, or Pizza Hut, or even for Dairy Queen for a few ideas. Or invite them over to your house for dinner or a weekend so they can have Christmas as your house. This would make a great gift and make things alot easier on them and help them cook to have Christmas dinner for everyone since they are usally the one in charge of everything. This gives them a big break.
