While at the beach, a tradition for many families is going out to restaurants that have all you can eat buffets. Many though instead of the traditional buffet prefer an all you can eat crab offering. Yet for many that isn’t quite enough for them. Waterman’s Seafood Company has you covered. They are not the type of restaurant like many in Ocean City, MD where they offer you as many different types of food as they can possibly produce yet excel in none. Instead they offer all you can eat specials for certain items on their menu. Again, unlike other restaurants in Ocean City, MD that do this, they have three all you can eat options instead of the one and sometimes two offerings their competitors have.
Located in West Ocean City on Route 50, Waterman’s Seafood Company is a place that many people view as just a carry out option for seafood. Instead it is a nice escape from the crowds of the central Ocean City area. They offer a full menu of selections, but their most popular offerings are the all you can eat meals. Regardless of the all you can eat option that you choose, you will receive corn on the cob, french fries, and that traditional sweet and starchy side for seafood in hush puppies. Waterman’s Seafood Company does offer the traditional all you can eat crab feast. For $25.99 you can order this special which along with the sides also includes steamed shrimp and fried chicken. This is known as their “original feast”.

For those of you in the group that are accompanying your friends who love all you can eat crab specials, but you just don’t like picking apart those crabs, or maybe just plain don’t like crabs, then Waterman’s Seafood Company has an option for you as well. For $19.99 you can have the all you can eat shrimp, fried chicken, and side orders, known as “The Shrimp Feast. I personally am not a huge fan of all you can eat crab deals as it takes a long time to make sure you get your money’s worth. With “The Shrimp Feast”, it is very easy to get your money’s worth and more in less than an hour for your meal!
Waterman’s Seafood Restaurant might not have the view that some of the restaurants in the main area of town do, or the reputation, but then again it doesn’t have the same long waits as well. Their variety on the all you can eat specials is enough of an appeal for my family that we drive to the restaurant at least once during our visit so I can enjoy the all you can eat shrimp while other members of my family enjoy the crabs. If you are looking for seafood to go, if you have a kitchen where you are staying in Ocean City, keep in mind that Waterman’s Seafood Company also has a Seafood market to meet your needs. It’s worth the trip out of the central part of town for these all you can eat specials alone.
