Before finding Associated Content, I like many others were looking for a way to make money. Someone on another site pointed me in the direction of a very popular site on the web that guarantees you success and cash for simply answering questions. Even though I was curious, I also was extremely cautious. I decided to go on the site and take a look around, after browsing for a bit it sure looked like something I could make some small money on. So I, as well as my daughter, signed up.
After a few hours of clicking and taking this survey and that survey I come across one for a FREE trial of a dental product. The add clearly stated only pay 2.95 and keep this product for FREE you are paying for the shipping and handling. I think I might not have had enough caffeine that day and I gave my credit card information. Big mistake, because this FREE item was not free. Three weeks later when the package arrived I never opened it because I did not want it. So I call my bank like I do every other day just to check my balance etc. And there is a charge on there for 42.90. I became angry and ask the lady who did this? And she told me the company name and it was the dental people, I immediately hung up and called the dental company.
These people are very rude and they speak over you when you are talking, and they also read from their scripts. Once I tried to convey to them what my problem was they reassured me my account was canceled and that I could keep the product. I stated I did not want the product and that it was going into the trash. Two days later my account is charged again and another package was sent that’s when I called and ask for a supervisor and they tried to beat around the bush and tell me they were busy. Once again reading from their scripts they advised me that I didn’t need to talk with their boss that they could help me. I pointed out to them that it must not be on their script how to give great customer service because they lacked in this.
I went on line and reported them to ripoff report.com, I felt some relief until another package arrived. They did refund one charge and I’m still waiting on second charge to be refunded which they promised four weeks ago. Please be aware of any company offering you a dental whitening product that only cost the shipping price, I can assure you that they will take advantage of everyone unless someone starts filing complaints. I advised them that unless they refunded me my money I would report them to the FDC because they are frauds.
I also suggest if this has happened to you, to contact the company or web site that pointed you in their direction. This worked for me because they apologized and stated they were no longer going to represent this company after I showed them the rude emails they had sent me. After peeking in on this original site they had removed this company from their logs. The good thing to come out of this, that company that recommended them did exactly what they promised to me. But even though I was appreciative not enough to use their site again.
Beware of the free ring tones because if you sign up and never even use their ring tone they will try and send them to your phone which happened to my daughter. Even though she didn’t retrieve them they charged her account over and over and we both had to get new credit cards so that these fraudulent people could not continue to suck our accounts dry. Beware of these type of companies and when in doubt, check them out. Have a great day.
