The Annunciation House is located at 815 Myrtle Ave El Paso, TX 79901. Volunteers live at the house during their term (at least one year or more). If you live in El Paso, you will be transferred to a home along the border where you must live among the poor people you help by listening, spreading the word of God, etc. Volunteers will need to bring a birth certificate or passport when they come to volunteer. You do not have to know Spanish before volunteering but you will have to be willing to learn it while you are there. You will be provided with full room and board and if you stay a year or more, you’ll get a travel stipend and heal insurance.
