Biltmore House, Cherokee North Carolina

Take a vacation in North Carolina to see the plantations, beaches, museums, zoo and parks. The mountains are beautiful year round making it a super place for vacationing. The N.C. beaches have excitement all year long. When wanting to take the children to see educational places or just to have fun North Carolina is the place to go.

One of the places to see in the mountains is the Biltmore House in Asheville, N.C.
Another is Grandfather Mountain in Linville, N.C., that has a mile high swinging bridge. Millions of people have walked across this bridge. Of course, the mountains are so beautiful in the fall with all the fall colors. Other places for vacationing that include Blowing Rock, the history of the rock and winter-fest. It has some 100 shops, a couple dozen restaurants, 15 to 20 inns and motels. Blowing Rock is the “Prettiest small town in North Carolina.”

Others are Boone, North Carolina; this is the home of Daniel Boone. Of course, there is the beautiful Cherokee North Carolina that belongs to the Cherokee Indian tribes. In addition, there is Linville Caverns in Linville, N.C. Linville Caverns are so beautiful with the different color and designs of rocks. In addition, the streams that run through the Caverns make it even more exciting. Many caverns have been closed down due to bats but Linwood craverns are still open. There is The Great Smokey Mountains in Bryson City, N.C. This is a year round vacation place.

The beaches in N.C. are magnificent with miles of ocean and plenty of different activities for the whole family. These are some of the N.C., beaches, Atlantic beach, N C. This beach is located on the east end of Bogue banks. This beach began as a vision and now thrives as a tourist location. There are many amusements and things to do day and night. Another is the Carolina beach, which is located in Pleasure Island, N.C. This beach has nearly 770 acres of just plain fun. Holden beach is only 35 minutes from Wilmington also Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is 30 minutes from this beach. Cape Hatteras on Hatteras Island, N.C., is a beach that vacationers continue to return year after year. It is one American’s Top 10 beaches.

These are a few of the historic places in the state of North Carolina to visit.
Topsail Beach, Wilmington, N.C. and Jacksonville, N.C. have Topsail Island, which has a history of pirates. Historians say that the pirates hid their ships behind the island in a channel. There is much more to learn about Topsail Island.

Then there is Santa Land in Maggie Valley, North Carolina near Cherokee. Of course, there is the casino in Cherokee, N.C. Also for those that enjoy playing Bingo this is in Cherokee.

There is the Asheboro zoo in Asheboro, N.C. There are acres of different kinds of animals. This is a treat for the children and adults. It takes a day to see all the animals.
