If you are having a fall wedding, you may want unique or unconventional fall wedding decorations. If you are having an unconventional fall wedding any decorations that match your fall wedding color theme will suffice. If you have a themed fall wedding, then, you will need unique fall wedding decorations that are the same theme as the wedding and the reception. Just remember that whatever color you have chosen for your wedding should continue into the wedding decorations and the wedding reception decorations.
Leaves – Leaves are great to incorporate into your fall wedding decorations. They are also great to use by themselves as the decorations. Leaves come in many different colors and are readily available in store bought décor or if you want “fresh” fall leaves you can just go out your door.
Leaves can be any size and you can find tablecloths and plates with leaves on them. If you want a solid color instead of the leaf décor on your plates, you can purchase any solid color or several solid colors. The great thing about using leaves is you have many color choices for the rest of the wedding materials.
Pumpkins – Pumpkins are a beautiful orange color. If you have a fall wedding, you might want to think about using an orange color theme and having pumpkins as a decoration. Some bridesmaids may not be happy about the choice, but you cannot please everyone and you shouldn’t try. This is your day, your choices.
Scarecrows – If you are thinking about having a fall wedding and maybe having it outside, I recommend a scarecrow as a decoration. You can use the scarecrow as a wedding decoration or as a wedding reception decoration.
Turkeys – Turkeys are a unique wedding decoration. They can either represent a Thanksgiving meal or you can represent the wild turkeys that you might see in fall. Turkeys are a creative decoration that can be store bought drawings, to life size statues. Have fun with a turkey theme decoration.
Deer – Deer are beautiful animals that represent fall to many people. If you like deer, you may want to incorporate a deer theme decoration into your fall wedding and wedding reception.
Corn of Copiah – Another colorful fall wedding decoration that will be easy to match colors with is the Corn of Copiah. You will be able to find them in stores or you can make your own, fresh. You will be able to choose any color for your fall wedding to match a Corn of Copiah.
Remember, you will need to decorate the area where you are having the wedding and decorate where the wedding reception will be. I suggest incorporating the colors in both places. If you are having a traditional wedding, but want a relaxed reception, you can use flowers for your wedding and then the unique decorations for your reception in your fall wedding color theme.
For the traditional fall wedding, the invitations could just have color theme of the fall wedding. If your decorations are for the wedding and the reception, your invitations should also have the fall wedding decoration theme incorporated into it. For example, you decide on orange and pumpkins as your fall wedding theme. You can send out wedding invitations in orange that have pumpkins on the invitations as decoration.
Whatever theme the bride chooses for her fall wedding, make the wedding about the bride and her wants.
