The Tuscan paint colors are recommendation from Sherwin Williams. You can of course choose your own Tuscan paint colors for your specific bathroom vanity, these are merely suggestions.

The first step is to lightly sand your Bathroom Mirror.

Wipe away any dust with a clean rag.

Now, apply on or two coats of primer.

Let this primer dry.

Now, you will want to paint the entire Tuscan bathroom mirror frame out in the base color. This will provide a smooth clean surface with rich base color. It will also keep any white out, since it is not warm and Tuscan!

A nice warm gray color is perfect for the base. A color like Harmonic Tab from Sherwin Williams would work well for this Tuscan mirror craft project.

Let this dry and you are ready to start taping off any areas that will not be painted.

Now you want to create a few different looks for your Bathroom Mirror based on your two paints, the two accent paints.

Mix the paints so you have one Bathroom Mirror paint color be closer to paint color #1, the second Bathroom Mirror paint color be close to paint #2, and create a third unique paint color by mixing an equal combination of the two paints.

Tip: You should mix your Tuscan colors in their own paint trays and add some glaze.

So, dip your brush in one color and start lightly applying it in an X motion on the mirror. Use a second brush dipped in the second color and apply some X’s on top of that. Repeat with the third, suing the X motions.

Repeat until the whole Tuscan bathroom mirror is covered.

Tip: Do not mix an paint until you have one color on the frame, lightly work the X’s so the colors blend only slightly.

Very lightly. You could also lightly stipple the mirror with a very dry brush with very little paint on it.

Let your Bathroom Mirror dry.

Now, carefully remove the painter’s tape. You will need to let your faux Tuscan paint treatment to cure for at least twenty-four hours.
