Top Ten Downloaded Games From

I have been racking my brains for the last week trying to think of a good article to write, and all I really had to do was go to www.gamehouse.com and look at the home page. If you don’t know what gamehouse.com is, it is a website that offers hundreds of online and downloadable games for you to play. I have yet to actually try these games, considering I don’t download games. However, if anyone would like to, these are the top ten downloaded games.

10. Super collapse 3. The third in a collection of Tetris-like games, it has proven to be as addictive as the others. In this games, you have different lands, or levels if you will, that you can play to beat. Much like the Mario games, you can collect coins. But the similarity ends there. These coins can be used to purchase items in shops that can help you along your journey. There is also a casino section that has some “mini-games,” and a quick play mode that has the classic versions, along with some new versions. I personally love Collapse and Super Collapse, so this is definitely one I would download.

9. Super GameHouse Solitaire Vol. 1. A collection of solitaire games that every solitaire lover should have. It has all the games that most people have already played and even some that some haven’t played yet. I find solitaire to be a bit on the boring side, so I tend to not play these kinds of games.

8. Delicious Deluxe. I have not played this game at all, or any version like it, so I’m not really sure if it’s any good. But it looks interesting. It’s a restaurant game that challenges the player’s ability to be able to multi-task to keep customers happy. The happier the customers, the better the business and the tips. The more money you make, the more you can expand. Two game modes and seven different restaurants should make for boat loads of fun!

7. Mah Jong Medley. Now this game I have played. I realize that it is a solitaire-type game, but it’s more challenging than the card game. There are over 300 layouts, all different from the last, from simple to challenging. There are also four different modes to play in. Classic mode in the original Mah Jong. In Ten mode, you need two tiles that add up to ten. In Free Cell mode, you can move up to two tiles out of the way. And finally, Addiction mode requires you to arrange the tiles numerically. I would recommend this game to anyone that enjoys original Mah Jong.

6. Luxor Mah Jong. This game has three modes: adventure mode, single mode, and traditional mode, and 200 different layouts. There are sacred tiles and stolen treasures of ancient Egypt to locate in this game, and you can start from the lowest level and work you way up to being a pharaoh of Egypt.

5. Luck Charm Deluxe. In number five of the top ten downloaded games, you play as a leprechaun trying to fill your pot with gold. Connecting items that match removes them from the board, while making matches over gold coins puts the coins in your pot. Also, a “teacher” offers advice along the 2 modes to help you through, or if you get stuck.

4. Water Bugs. This is a strategic game where you draw lines through odd shapes to trap the water bugs through over 500 levels. Looks interesting, if nothing else.

3. SCRABBLE. This is one of my favorite games, but according to GameHouse.com, it’s only available for purchase in the United States and Canada. There are eight different computer opponents to play against, or you can play against your family and friends in four modes: Classic, Blitz, Tournament, and Custom Tournament. Features include being able to look at the best play, hints, and the official SCRABBLE dictionary.

2. Luxor 2. Another game that takes place in ancient Egypt, in this one you have to shoot at spheres traveling along a path before they reach the pyramid at the end. This game has 88 different levels to capture your attention.

1. Diamond Detective. In this game, precious gems have been stolen, and you are required to get them back and catch the ten thieves by looking for clues.

These are the top ten downloaded games from GameHouse.com. Most of them you have to pay for to download, so I would recommend playing the online versions of these games, which are also located at GameHouse.com under “online games,” before you download a game so that you don’t pay for something that you might not like. So get out there and play some games!
