I have personally scouted out the top 5 fishing spots in Cleveland, OH for anyone looking for good places to fish. Not all but most of these are lakes not really known to to many people keeping the fishing not to crowded or over fished. Depending on your mood there may be better choices but all are great fishing spot.

Judge Lake, Hinckley, Ohio

Judge Lake is a small lake. However, this lake has some of the best fishing I have ever experienced. From bass to bluegill this lake is a fun little lake to fish. Great for the beginner and fun for the expert. Judge Lake is ranked number one in the top 5 places to fish in Cleveland, OH.

Ledge Lake, Hinckley, Ohio

Located approximately one mile away from Judge Lake is Ledge Lake. This lake has a great variety of fish. From bass, bluegill, trout, crappie, carp, and catfish. This lake offers a lot. Over the winter they even stock it with trout for ice fishing. This is number two in the top 5 places to fish in Cleveland, OH.

Rocky River, Cleveland

Rocky River is a great rover to fish out of. One of the coolest parts about this lake is that it is ranked in the top 100 places to fish in the U.S. Rocky River, also known as steelhead alley is visited by more people in the U.S. Than any other river for steelhead. Although this river features many fish the most sought after are bass, bluegill, steelhead, and walleye. This river is number three in the top 5 places to fish in Cleveland, OH.

Cole Lake, Berea, Ohio

Located at city hall and the Berea police station, Cole Lake is a beautiful lake to fish. This is a fairly large lake and has many fish species to choose from. The favorite are carp, bass, bluegill, and catfish. Personally I have seen some of the biggest bass of my life in this lake. Some bass are in the neighborhood of four pounds. Overall I strongly recommend this lake to anyone who wants some new excitement. This lake is number four in the Top 5 places to fish in Cleveland, OH.

Lake Erie, one of the great lakes of the world and is the final lake in out list. This lake can be trickier to fish for the beginner but fun to fish once you get the hang of it. This lake has so many different species of fish but the top fish that people are fishing for today are walleye, trout, and bass. People make their living fishing out of Lake Erie and many sport fishermen return here day after day for some great fishing action.
