Top 5 Waterparks in Michigan

Great Wolf Lodge, Muskegon Michigan

Michigan winters get cold, but there is one thing that you can do to beat the winter blues. A very easy way to make the children happy and give yourselves a break from Old Man Winter is to go to an indoor water park. Which is the best local water park for you? Look below for all the information that you will need to make a smart and cost-effective decision:

The Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, Michigan. Great Wolf Lodge is quite costly with their least expensive room being $169.99 per night for a base occupancy of four. The suite features two queen size beds and a semi private living area with a full-size sofa sleeper. Also, this deal is only available during the colder months of the Michigan year. It is an additional $25 per person up to a maximum of six people per room. The price is not horrible considering that it includes stay for a night, beautiful accommodations, and a very fun day for the children inside the great Wolf Lodge water park. A little too expensive to do monthly, but the price is not out of the question for once or twice a year. Such specialties as birthdays and when the family needs a vacation together. I highly recommend great Wolf Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, but I’d do not agree with the prices because it cost quite a bit of money to go there, but it is a lot of fun splashing around in 84° water. You can find out more information at www.GreatWolf.com or by calling 866-478-9653

Avalance Bay in Boyne Falls, MI. current packages for a one night stay and use of the water park are $166 per night. The rooms are comfy and cozy and are very nice for the price, but are still a little expensive even though they are cheaper than Great Wolf Lodge. This includes unlimited water park access for up to four people starting at 4 PM on the day of arrival. Avalanche Bay is Michigan’s biggest indoor water park and is a lot of fun, but be sure to watch out for Splasherhorn Mountain it is a 800 gallon avalanche that the children are sure to have fun on.
