Top 5 Karate Themed Party Favors for Kids

Hacky Sack, Karate, Temporary Tattoos, Toys and Games

Do you have an aspiring karate black belt in your family? Perhaps you’d like to throw that person a karate themed birthday party this year. If so, you may want to check out my list of the best karate themed party favors for kids. Here it is:

Karate Stationary Supplies

Is your karate themed party slated to take place during the school year? Well then, you may want to consider filling a party favor bag with karate themed stationary supplies. I have found that there are several party supply and stationary shops that sell karate stickers, karate pencils, dragon notepads and karate erasers for less than $3 a pack.

Miniature Karate Toys and Games

Based on my experience, miniature karate toys and games also make great party favors. Items to consider investing in are ninja figurines, karate hacky sack balls, wiggle snakes, bongo sticks and oriental noisemakers. Many of the items may be purchased through discount stores, specialty shops and party supply shops for less than $10 a case.

Karate Edibles

Karate themed edible items are also worthy of your consideration. Treats to consider are ready-made or homemade fortune cookies, Chinese New Year firecracker candy, chocolate karate lollipops and karate sugar cookies. The karate candy molds tend to come in two varieties and sell for less than $6 each through restaurant supply shops. The first karate candy mold is designed to be a lollipop. The second karate candy mold is designed to be a candy bar. Each one features a man doing a martial arts move. The cookie cutters often sell for less than $4 apiece through specialty shops. Once you decide on what edible you’d like to use, you may want to consider investing in Chinese take-out boxes. They make excellent karate themed party favor boxes and may be customized with stickers or magic markers.

Ninja Bubble Swords and Other Weaponry

Pint sized martial arts enthusiasts are also known to be fascinated with ninjas and ninja weaponry. With that said, you may want to hand out ninja bubble swords ($4 each) and other faux weaponry. Other faux weaponry to consider are plastic blow dart guns and plastic or inflatable swords. Most of the items are available for purchase through martial arts stores, specialty shops and party supply shops.

Karate Jewelry and Temporary Tattoos

Karate jewelry and temporary tattoos are two more things that the party guests would surely enjoy. I’d suggest going with karate themed necklaces, bracelets and rings as well as the tattoos. You can usually purchase the items through martial arts stores and party supply shops for less than $10 a case.
