Top 5 Baseball Themed Party Favors for Kids

Baseball Bats, Baseball Caps, Summer Hair Care, Tips for a Baseball Party

Are you planning a baseball themed birthday party for your son or daughter? If so, you may want to take a look at my picks for five of the best baseball party favors for kids:

Baseball Candy

Are you looking for an edible, baseball themed party favor? If so, there is an array of options to choose from. You could opt to hand out boxes of Cracker Jacks and bags of peanuts. Based on my experience, the best place to score a case of Cracker Jacks ($27 per case) or individual bags of peanuts is through a candy wholesaler. It tends to be less expensive that way. Other options include Dubble Bubble Baseball Gumballs ($31 per case), packets of Big League Chew, baseball chocolate pops and baseball candies wrapped in tin foil.

Baseball Cards

Packets of baseball cards would undoubtedly make your child’s party guests smile. I’d suggest that you buy them in bulk through either a sports card wholesaler or a party supply shop. In most instances, you may expect to pay $2 per pack of baseball cards. Many of the baseball card packs also come with a stick of gum.

Baseball and Bat

Mini foam baseballs ($1 each) and inflatable baseball bats ($4 each) would also work well as party favors. You may also want to consider purchasing waffle balls and waffle ball bats through your local discount store. Either one is sure to be a hit with the kids. Just make sure that you don’t hand out the balls and bats until the kids are ready to leave. Otherwise, they may try using them inside the house.

Baseball Caps

Would you like to invest in a baseball themed party favor that can double as a party activity? If so, you may want to buy a case of plain baseball caps (50 pieces for $57) and some fabric pens. You could hand out the baseball caps and let each child spend some time decorating their hats with the fabric pens. If you do go with the baseball cap option, I’d suggest that you look for fast drying, fabric markers ($7 a box). That way the baseball caps will be dry and safe for transport by the time your child’s party ends. The baseball caps are available through party supply shops and the markers are available through major craft stores.

Baseball Sippy Cup

Depending on the party guests’ ages, you may want to hand out baseball shaped sippy cups with built-in straws. The baseball cups tend to be available for purchase through party supply shops for $3 each. I’d suggest that if you do choose to go with the baseball cups that you look for one where the straw can be removed for cleaning.
