Top 3 Bars in Pensacola, Florida

Pensacola Beach, Seville, Top 3 Bars

Pensacola, Florida is a tourist hot spot, reputable for its’ pristine and alluring white sand beaches. Of course, where the weather is warm, the best drinks come cold! If you desire more than just a beer, or you don’t want to waste your time ‘hopping’ to find the best bar, these recommendations are for you.

Bamboo Willie’s Beachside Bar

Bamboo Willie’s couldn’t be more aptly named. Located on the shore of Pensacola Beach, Willie’s, is beachside to the extreme. You can access Bamboo Willie’s by car or boat. It is an upbeat and friendly establishment, with an abundance of tropical ambiance. Just as you would expect, Bamboo Willie’s specializes in frozen daiquiri style drinks, perfect after a long day of sunbathing. From the famous ‘Bushwacker’ (an original invented on Pensacola Beach), to the ‘Island Blow Pop’, or a classic margarita, there’s a frozen libation here to please everyone.

Bamboo Willie’s offers more than just tasty refreshments. On any given day, there’s bound to be some excitement going on. Some of the festivities include; crawfish boils, open mic nights, band performances, and don’t forget week day happy hours! At Bamboo Willie’s, you’re sure to have a time you won’t forget, but if you have one daiquiri too many, you can always stop into Willie’s gift shop and purchase a reminder!

McGuire’s Irish Pub

Award winning McGuire’s, is easy to find on E. Gregory Street in Pensacola. This is the best bar around if you’re in the mood for good wine or an original Irish beer. McGuire’s has a massive wine cellar, which features a collection that is rare in the United States. Just as notable as their wine cellar is McGuire’s brewery. They regularly brew fine Irish ales, porters, and stouts. They brew five consistently, and one alternating seasonally. McGuire’s also offers an ample list of martinis, and yet another menu consisting of Irish inspired specialty drinks.

Not to be out done by their drinks, McGuire’s claims to present, “The best live Irish entertainment south of Boston.” And nothing goes better with exceptional drink and music, than equally satisfying eats. The food menu here is extensive, and filled with twenty-five different burger choices, along with traditional Irish dishes, and delectable steaks. McGuire’s is like a heavenly little slice of Ireland, right here on the Gulf Coast.

Seville Quarter

Seville Quarter may be last on my list, but is certainly not least. The term ‘bar’ doesn’t do Seville a bit of justice. It is actually a converted warehouse, containing seven separate and unique bars and restaurants. So, if you enjoy bar hopping, this is the place for you. You could quite literally hop from one bar to another, and after a few of their reasonably priced mixed drinks, who knows, you just may! There is a cover charge to enter, from Wednesday through Saturday, which ranges from $3-$10, dependant on your age and the day you attend. A small price to pay for the wide array of entertainment offered.

Check out Seville Quarter’s calendar of events to help you choose the night that’s right for you. Some regularly offered entertainment includes, but is not limited to; Karaoke, DJ’s, Texas hold ’em poker, live bands, and dueling piano shows. Why pick one, start your night here early, and get a little of everything in! Seville Quarter is located on Government Street, Downtown Pensacola.

I have also chosen McGuire’s as one of the “Top 3 Burger Joints in Pensacola, FL”. Seville Quarter made my list in the “Top 3 Places to Take a First Date in Pensacola, FL”.
