This is one place that no one, mom, dad or the kids will not want to miss. Where else can you swim side by side with a shark? Okay, okay you will feel like your swimming side by side because a huge clear shark tank has been placed in the middle of the pool allowing you to swim up close. Don’t worry. The tank is taller than the pool and there is no chance of them escaping to the pool area. If that isn’t exciting enough for you, how about a 3 story high water slide? Oh and the slide, it passes straight through the shark tank via a clear tube allowing you an up close and personal view of the creatures. Daily rates for cabanas are $175 (Mon-Thurs) and $250 (Fri-Sun.). The pool and tank are open daily from 10am to 8pm.

2. Mandalay Beach (The Hotel at Mandalay Bay)

This place is unbelievable. If you have heard of the new 21 and over Moorea Beach Club, you may wondering how it can be a family friendly place. Don’t worry, the Beach Club is well secluded and the kids won’t be able to “accidentally” see anything. They may not even be able to find it with 11 acres of tropical beach and pools. The main WOW feature of Mandalay Beach is the Wave Pool set against a huge white sand beach. With the waves crashing at your feet, you feel you are really at the beach of some hidden tropical island. There are 3 main pools as well as the lazy river to float down on tubes you can rent from the Hotel. Cabanas, day beds and bungalows can be rented for the day and tube rentals are included in the price. Costs are from $200-$1800 per day. This Las Vegas beacher’s paradise is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
