The Significance of Footprints in the Sand

Footprints in the Sand

Have you ever felt an emotional collapse where your mind is in a state of a total black out or silence? It is as if you’ve fainted out cold, yet by some miracle you are a functioning broken spirit. Perhaps, this emotion may happen with the event of a sudden tragedy that made one of your worse fears come true. The ambiance of the experience can hit a person deeply to the core surrounding their minds with darkness that encircles the spirit like a vulture devours the dead.
This feeling is very much like death by how the event left you afterward. One in this state of mind is never unnoticed. People notice how broken the person is by the silence, and pensive expression unlike everyone else’s. When one can function during bad times it is not by the power one may think he or she has.
In fact, the broken spirit is limp enough to take the weight of your entire body down with it. However, an invisible power helps you stand despite your weakness.

The beautiful significance of “Footprints in the Sand” is the fact that God will hold you up after the heart breaking blow. The Lord’s foot prints in the sand is deep as he carries each of our burdens, pain and disappointments upon Himself. Meaning, the weight we feel in our souls is from the devastating blow. Fortunately, God is the one who carries us despite the weight, because he did overcome the world. God is our leader to take our hand and walk with us, or carry us through. The poem wrote it in a literal sense, but it is the truth. When we are totally empty inside it would seem impossible to drive, cook, pay bills on time, take medication in the right dosage, shop and make business calls correctly.

Think about it really seriously. All those times you thought you were totally out of it, but you still did what you had to do without an accident. This is a true miracle to me. A still small voice of God in your mind tries to work with each of us as our own personal conscience. When we listen to our conscience things turn out alright, but when we ignore it many terrible consequences happen. He may put a positive song in your head for you to remember if you’ve ever listened to one. He may also put a a passage from a book or a poem that will give you a message. God will sometimes send people you know or a stranger to tell you what you need to know. Try to be thankful when thinking of those times you were distraught. Remember that you didn’t fail the tasks that required your brain to focus. Thank our God in heaven for carrying you through the most toughest times by giving you strength to stand. When God helps you, one way to thank him is to acknowledge him. You can get to know him by reading the good Bible to understand more about life, and what he wants to do for you. Personally speaking, life can be really hard to deal with , but God will never leave you. Hold on to Him with all your might, and never let go of God.
