The Plaza Restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida

Magic Kingdom, Tomorrowland, Town Square

If you are not looking for it, The Plaza Restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is easy to miss. It’s tucked away, just off Main Street, U.S.A. on your way to Tomorrowland. It’s a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat, especially on days when Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is packed to capacity. Here is a review of The Plaza Restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.

The Plaza Restaurant doesn’t offer a huge menu, but they do serve all of the essentials. Namely, sandwiches, burgers, and of course, ice cream. Their sandwiches are filled with fresh and wholesome ingredients, and their burgers are thick and juicy, and topped with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. The Plaza Restaurant is a terrific place for lunch, especially if you are anxious to get back to the attractions.

With your sandwich and burger, you may want to try a thick and delicious milk shake for a change. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, or their flavor of the day. The milk shakes at The Plaza Restaurant put other milk shakes to shame. If you don’t want to drink your ice cream, then be sure to save room for dessert. The Plaza Restaurant offers some marvelous sundaes with your choice of ice cream and toppings.

The service at The Plaza Restaurant is just as you would expect from Disney. The servers are friendly and fast on their feet, and anxious to please every guest, especially the tykes. The Plaza Restaurant is a great place for a bite to eat when you are in a rush, because you will likely be in and out in about a half hour. This is a table service restaurant, but everything comes out pretty fast. And The Plaza Restaurant is open all day, so you can eat a lunch or early supper between three and four-thirty, when Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is closed.

The Plaza Restaurant accepts the Disney Dining Experience Card, so be sure to bring it along in order to save your twenty percent on all food and beverages. Even without it, the prices at The Plaza Restaurant are fairly reasonable. For two people, plan on spending about thirty bucks, including the tip. Not bad, considering a counter-service meal at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland will run you about twenty. And The Plaza Restaurant is a much more enjoyable experience. (It kind of feels like an old-fashioned diner).

Enjoy your meal at The Plaza Restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, just off Main Street, U.S.A.
