Kip 700 Multifunction Engineering Copier

The new Kip 700 is one of the best valued multifunctional systems in the world today. It features color touch screen controls, easy to use and understand walk up features, and offers top of the line quality and performance. In an attempt to enhance it’s image in a highly environmentally conscious world, the machine used 100% of its toner, and adds other features that limit it’s impact. To top it off, the pricing is extremely competitive in it’s market.

Kip’s high definition print technology combined with the well engineered Kip toner produces fast and highly accurate copies. The machine can get up to 600 x 600 dots per inch when scanning, copying or printing.

It’s one of the most friendly environmentally friendly Kip devices to date. The machine is rated as Energy Star compliant and features adjustable sleep modes to limit the amount of electricity consumed when not in operation. The reduced maintenance cycles are designed to maximize the up-time of the device while reducing costly service calls.

It is also one of the better user friendly systems put out by Kip. The device can handle A to C sized sheets in the paper tray. It has automated media loading on 2 and 3″ cores, and convenient front print delivery. Users can find easy navigation with touch screen copying, printing and scanning controls. The touch screen for printing is fairly simple and allows quick use of the print functions. You can print from the integrated USB port, or network/SMB locations. You can set the number of prints through the touch screen as well as re-size your images. You are also able to view images before they’re printed limiting wasted paper and time.

Scanning and copying from the touch screen is also easy to view, use and understand. You can scan multipage PDF, TIF, and DWF files, even to the integrated USB port if you choose. You can easily recall, reprint and edit previous jobs. Convenient quality presets reduce time editing your document before scanning or copying it. Color scanning works similarly and the machine allows color copying to inkjet printers.

The Kip 700 comes preloaded with other time saving features as well. It already has tested and configured drivers for AutoCad 11 and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit). It is fully Citrix ready. It allows you to preview your prints from your PC, the web, and allows you to calculate cost for reports on the functions you’ve used. The preview functions are basic WYSISYP with full image preflight and custom image placing.

You can print full jobs and an unlimited amount of files from anywhere. The Kip 700 is not browser dependent, so you’re not required to use a specific version of Internet Explorer to use the machine.

The security features are also impressive. The Kip 700 is fully Department of Defense compliant. You can schedule daily, weekly or monthly secure overwrites of previous data. Temporary conversion process data is permanently deleted as well as all remnants of image data.
