1. Proverbs 31:10, 25-26, 38

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubles. Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

This quote celebrates the strength of the mother and the esteem in which she is held by her family.

2. Psalm 127:3

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Your children are a blessing from God.

3. Luke 1:42

And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

Children are a blessing from God, as are the mothers who bear them and raise them.

4. Mark 3:35

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Your mother is your another guide in faith and in life.

5. Genesis 17:16

And I will bless her, and give thee a song also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

This was originally said to Abraham’s wife, but it stands true to mothers today. They are blessed with their offspring, who are our tomorrow.

Woman are meant to be mothers.

7. Isiah 66:12-13

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

God can be just as comforting as your mother was when you were a baby.

8. Proverbs 23:22

Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

Love your mother for all your life, and hers.

9. Exodus 20:12

Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God will give you. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Deuteronomy 5:16

Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

These two verses share the same sentiment. God commands that we love, honor, and respect our parents. Our lives will be longer and lovelier, both on Earth and in Heaven.

10. Ephesians 6:1-3

Children, obey your parents in the LORD: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

It is our duty to obey our mothers, to enjoy a long, happy life.
