Pass-A-Grille beach is also a great beach for shelling, has plenty of parking, and the walk from your car to the surf is extremely short. Which is very important, because we all know the amount of stuff required when going to the beach with your family. Best Family Beach In Tampa Bay #3: Indian Rocks Beach
Very few people when thinking of which beach to go to in Tampa Bay consider Indian Rocks Beach. This beach’s lack of publicity has left it relatively untouched by tourists and partying crowds. While the beach can barely be seen from the road thanks to the large condominiums lining the shore, its is beautiful. Your family will love building sand castles and looking for shells at this family friendly Pinellas County beach. The only drawback of this beach is it’s lack of parking. If you are coming from out of town, consider renting a condo on this beach, which often costs less than a hotel room on one of the bigger beaches in the area.
