Swimsuit by James Patterson

James Patterson, Patterson

Swimsuit is the newest New York Times Hardcover Fiction Bestseller by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. Swimsuit was published in late June of 2009 by Little, Brown and Company. James Patterson returns with another thriller that only he can tell. Swimsuit is about a new kind of killer who is not your typical killer. He is the kind that does things he shouldn’t be doing but does anyway. Kind of reminds me of one of his books, Kiss the Girls.

Henry Benoit is the newest bad guy in James Patterson’s latest thriller. He is a man who works for “The Alliance”, a group who hires out others to do their dirty work. Of course Henry Benoit is not your typical killer. He is someone who enjoys what he does and also does it well. The ones that he picks are women who are not old, usually very young, he plays with them like dolls, sexually assaults them in so many different ways, then he ends their lives by doing a variation a things. He always makes sure that his kills are on tape and then he makes sure that “The Alliance” gets the information so he can get paid. He is an evil man who gets paid to do what he loves the best and that is just gruesome.

Kim McDaniels, who is well known supermodel, is one of the victims. She is in Hawaii on a job when she is taken. He makes sure that her parents know that he has her, but not telling them that he has already done the deed and she is dead. He wants to make sure that her parents know who is in charge and that he is the one who had taken her. He enjoys this little games that he plays and he just upped the ante when he placed a call to her parents to let them know. Her parents, who are frantic, make the trip to Hawaii. They have no idea that they are next on the list for this deranged madman. Ben Hawkins, a former police officer, meets up with them and wants to help. As time wears on, more and more dead bodies start to appear and they all fear the worst. As Ben Hawkins does his investigation, more information is played out and the realization that Kim is no longer alive.

It is during this time that Ben is given an assignment by Benoit himself to write about his life. He wants what he has done in the past, present, and hopefully in the future, down in the written word so he can go down in history as one of the worst killers. To do this, Benoit makes sure that he can be anywhere he wants and be wherever at any given time. Especially be near Hawkins girlfriend. He makes sure that Ben knows that he will do what he wants anytime and will if he does not cooperate. Ben hates what is going but knows that he has to do what he must to ensure that no more deaths happen. He bides his time until the time that he can catch this madman and put him away. Can Ben keep his girlfriend safe? Can he get this madman and stop the killing spree that he is on? Will Ben be able to safe more innocent people from death at the hands of a madman? To find out, read this incredible new book by the best selling author of so many books, James Patterson. James Patterson is one author who will keep you awake at night wondering what is going to happen next and also at times, give you nightmares. He is one amazing author.
