Straight Talk’s Prepaid Cell Phone Plans

All You, Cell Phone Plans, Mobile Web, Prepaid Cell Phone Plans

When it comes to prepaid cell phone plans, you’ll quickly realize that for a person that actually uses their cell phone at least daily the cost can add up quickly. Prepaid plans can be great for those who don’t use their phones much but for others, it can get to be quite expensive. Straight Talk offers two plans that make it more feasible for cell phone users who do not want to, or cannot commit to a contract plan.

All You Need Plan

The All You Need Plan offered by Straight Talk is available for a flat rate of $30.00. With this plan, you are limited to the amount of time you can use. Here is what you get with the All You Need Plan.

1,000 minutes to use for calling or receiving calls from anyone nationwide- The minutes are for use any time during the day or night and any day of the week.

1,000 text or picture messages to or from anyone nationwide

Mobile Web Access – With the All You Need Plan you get 30 MB of access.

Thirty days of service

If the All You Need Plan is the one for you, simply purchase the Straight Talk phone of your choice along with the appropriate prepaid plan card. With this plan, you will be alerted as to how much talk time you have remaining for the month before a call is connected. You can also check the status of your remaining talk, text, picture messaging and web access time via the Straight Talk website. Keep in mind too that remaining minutes, etc. do not roll over to the next month.

Unlimited Plan

The Unlimited Plan is just that; unlimited. While it does cost more per month than the All You Need Plan, it’s not by much. You can purchase Unlimited Plan cards, or refill online for the flat $45.00. Below is what you’ll get with this plan.

Unlimited text and picture messaging to and from anyone nationwide

Unlimited talk time to and from anyone nationwide

Unlimited mobile web access

Thirty days of service

To take advantage of the Unlimited Plan, purchase your Straight Talk phone along with the Unlimited Plan card, or via the Straight Talk website. With this plan, your calls will never be prompted with interruptions or alerts. You will however receive a text message from Straight Talk when you have only a few days of service remaining as a reminder to refill.

Refilling monthly is easy with Straight Talk. You can purchase prepaid cards wherever Straight Talk is sold or use the website. There is an option for refilling right through your phone as well, but essentially you are just calling the company and purchasing over the phone.

Straight Talk also offers three, six and twelve month Unlimited Plans. While you can gain the convenience of not having to refill every thirty days, you don’t really save any money. They can be purchased for $135, $270, and $540 with still equals out to be $45 a month.

Overall the Straight Talk plans are great low cost cell phone plans for anyone. For those who use their phones less often, go with the All You Need Plan. If you want everything you get from a bigger company without having to sign a contract, go with the Unlimited Plan. If you decide it’s not for you, simply stop using it. Without refilling, the phone will “expire” and you’ve made no commitments with any contracts.
