Sonic the Hedgehog Themed Party Favors for Kids

Party Menu, Target Shooting, Temporary Tattoos

Are your children die-hard Sonic the Hedgehog devotees? If they are, you may want to contemplate the idea of hosting a character themed party. My kids were avid hedgehog fans. Thus, I have a few party favor ideas that you may find helpful. Here they are:

Lollipops

I have found that themed, chocolate lollipops make excellent gifts. There are a handful of confectionary related retailers that sell the molds needed to make the lollipops. One of them is Molds-n-More. The company’s mold makes three Sonic the Hedgehog lollipops at one time. It also tends to retail for around $5. Once you are done making the pops, consider wrapping them up with cello bags and curly ribbons.

Sugar Cookies

Would you rather give the kids cookies instead of chocolate? Do you have super crafting skills and a few basic tools at your disposal? If so, you may want to whip up a batch of sugar cookies. In order to make the cookies, you’ll need to make your own Sonic the Hedgehog cookie cutter. Thankfully, there are instructions for doing so already posted on the Sonic Gear website. Making the cookie cutter isn’t that difficult to do. You can also use the finished cookie cutter to make themed canapés and other items to dress up your party’s menu.

Sports Bottle

If you want a party favor that is capable of doing double duty, check out the Sonic the Hedgehog Sports Bottle. You can serve your guests their refreshments in it. Thus, buying it eliminates the need for disposable cups and straws. The sports bottle that I am familiar with is 10 inches tall, blue and features a full-color graphic of Sonic himself. You can usually purchase a case of the bottles through Birthday Express for around $22.

Stickers and Temporary Tattoos

Are you working with a restrictive budget? Well then, you may want to think about giving the kids Sonic the Hedgehog Stickers and temporary tattoos. Most Sonic fans that I know of love that kind of stuff. The stickers and temporary tattoos are readily available through most major party supply stores. On average, a four pack of stickers will lighten your wallet around $2. The temporary tattoos are a bit pricier. An 8 pack of those tends to retail for $4.

Flying Discs

Do you want a party favor that can also be used as a party activity? If so, I’d suggest that you consider picking up a case of Sonic the Hedgehog Flying Discs. The discs are slightly over 3 inches in diameter and may be used to play a Sonic version of disc golf or a homemade target shooting game. They are often available for purchase through assorted party retailers for $4 a pack. Each pack tends to contain three discs. Of course you could also opt to make your own flying discs by outfitting Frisbees with homemade Sonic the Hedgehog stickers.
