The entire sheet of MDF of the Tumbled Sea Glass Mosaic Headboard Will be covered in tile made from beautiful and soft edged tumbled sea glass, you choose the colors!

Now, you need to establish the pattern or lack of pattern you want to create on your Tumbled Sea Glass Mosaic Headboard. You can create a cream colored border or even make diamond or circle or square patterns by turning the Sea Glass pieces in different directions.

You can buy Sea Glass by the bag at most arts and craft stores. They usually come sorted by color. To save money buy large bags of mixed colored sea glass.

Once you have your pattern established, you need to start working on your grout and tile adhesive.

Now, to start applying your Tumbled Sea Glass “tiles” I recommend working in sections. This means, add some glue to the back of your individual piece of glass and then place it in the correct location on the MDF headboard. You can glue directly onto your MDF or pine sheet.

Now, once the Tumbled Sea Glass pieces have dried in place on the Mosaic Headboard you can grout. Be sure to read how long your specific tile adhesive needs to dry before you grout.

You can use pre made grout or mix your own to save money.

Now, I would use a white grout for a cohesive look. This will continue the soft and soothing look. You can buy grout in almost any color imaginable.

Use a trowel to apply the grout liberally over each piece of Tumbled Sea Glass. Let it dry to a haze, then wipe a way with a sponge until clean and clear.
