SAT Optional Colleges in NJ

Many colleges & universities in New Jersey do not require students to submit SAT Scores for admission. According to FairTest.org, over 775 colleges do not require SAT scores. SAT tests have long been scrutinized as being biased, discriminatory, and impersonal. Many colleges and universities have changed their admission policies to allow students to apply without submitting SAT test scores. These seven New Jersey colleges are SAT optional.

Berkeley College in West Patterson, NJ
No SAT or other standardized test scores are required for admission. This business college offers Associate and Bachelor degrees in many business fields, such as Accounting, Business Management, Business Marketing, Fashion Management, Health Services Management, and Human Resources. Drew University in Madison, NJ
No SAT or other standardized test scores are required for admission. Drew University consists of the College of Liberal Arts, the Drew Theological School, and the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies. Some of the 55 undergraduate studies are Anthropology, Dance, Linguistics, Pre-law, Pre-med, Religious Studies, and Sustainability. Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ
No SAT or other standardized test scores are required for admission. The school is based on Roman Catholic tradition, but is open to all faiths. The university is divided into two categories., The Women’s College and the co-ed University College. Both colleges offer study in Arts & Humanities, Sciences & Mathematics, Business, and Education. Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, NJ
No SAT or other standardized test scores are required for admission. Offers Associate, Bachelor, and Master degrees, as well as Professional Certificates. No SAT or other standardized test scores are required for admission to this co-ed religious school. Offers Torah and Judaism educational studies and Rabbinical Ordination. Talmudical Academy of New Jersey in Adelphia, NJ
No SAT or other standardized test scores are required for admission to this all male religious school. This is a private school with only 50 students. Call 732-431-1600 to apply to the Talmudical Academy of New Jersey.
