Rock Climbing Themed Party Favors for Teens

Climbers, Game Day Snacks, Promotional Marketing

Are you thinking about planning a rock climbing party for your teenager this year? If so, you’ll eventually need to invest in a few themed party favors. In my experience, there are several items that would make excellent party favors for such an occasion. Here’s a brief glimpse at a handful of them:

Stress Balls

Serious rock climbers are known to use grip savers to help exercise their hands in between climbing excursions. Hence, I would normally recommend giving your party guests grip savers. However, ergonomic grip balls tend to sell for as much as $18 apiece. In my opinion, that makes them a bit too expensive to use as party favors. As such, you may want to consider giving your party guests a less expensive version. One way to do that is to invest in a case of stress balls. In general, buying two dozen stress balls from a party supply shop is likely to lighten your wallet by about $15. Some stores, like Office Depot, will even customize the stress balls for you. That way, you can have the stress balls embossed with a commemorative, birthday message.

Climbing Tape

If your guests are true climbing enthusiasts, they’ll undoubtedly appreciate a roll of climbing tape as well. The tape is available for purchase through most rock climbing related retailers. On average, a roll of the climbing tape is apt to cost you $4 each. I’d suggest pairing the tape with other party favors. Otherwise the party favor bags will tend to look a bit skimpy. If you are short on cash, try filling the rest of the party favor bags with edible treats. They always seem to go over well.

Climb On! Bar Cases

Climb On! Bar Cases would make superlative party favors as well. I would also recommend giving your party guests a Climb On! Bar to go with it. I like handing out the bars and cases together because they can be used by both rock climbers and non-rock climbers alike. After all, every outdoor enthusiast’s skin gets exposed to the elements at one time or another. The containers and bars are often sold through outdoor outfitters and other sports related retailers for $100 a case (24 pieces per case).

Refillable Chalk Balls

Based on my experience, refillable chalk balls would make great party favors too. You can typically purchase the refillable chalk balls through sports shops for $5 apiece. Depending on your budget, you may also want to include a chalk ball. In general, chalk balls will cost you an additional $3 to $5 each.

Sports Water Bottles

Last but not least, you may want to consider giving your party guests sports water bottles. Sports water bottles may be purchased through a variety of retailers. Some establishments, like promotional marketing companies, offer bulk discounts and opportunities to customize the water bottles. Other establishments do not. Prices for sports water bottles will vary greatly based on the bottle’s design and the retailer. Therefore, you may want to spend some time hunting down the best deal before your make your purchase.
