Rimmel, Hide the Blemish Concealer

Rimmel

I take care of my skin…I’m like a junkie when it comes to skin care, but it seems no matter what I do for my skin I still get break outs every now and then.

Acne fighting lotions, scrubs and pads do their job, but most of them take a long time to fully get rid of the pimple. Most acne fighting products can take up to a week to see an improvement.

During that week long wait, I have to find ways to try and at least hide the red swollen appearance of the pimple. It seems that applying tons of liquid foundation and powders to the pimple only makes the thing redder and darker in color; and In some cases, bigger.

When I came across Rimmel’s Hide The Blemish Concealer stick I was intrigued. The Blemish stick only ran me about $2.99, so I figured why the hell not? If it worked, wonderful. If not, oh well, no big loss.

The concealer comes in a stick that resembles lipstick. You apply the concealer by twisting the bottom of the tube, and the concealer rises from the stick. Yep, the looks like lipstick, and it works like lipstick. It’s the perfect size to throw right into your purse and bring along with you.

The tube itself is tan colored, and has the words Hide The Blemish scrawled in bold letters across it. It’s very easy to miss in stores…but I have always seen it hidden on bottom racks. You have to really look if you plan on finding it. Luckily most stores place designer products together. I fond this one in the Rimmel section at Walmart down the makeup isle.

My Use:

I figured this would be extremely easy to use, because all I really had to do was dot the pimple and the concealer would do the rest. This is exactly all I had to do.

I located the nasty red bastard that was beating on my chin, and I smacked him up with my Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer stick. A few dots to the pimple and the red color was gone.

The concealer is a bit hard and waxy in texture so it was hard to blend. I didn’t mind though because after the concealer was on it was not budging, which meant I could conceal the redness, and apply my regular foundation on top of it.

It worked like a charm.

I fell in love with this concealer stick about 2 years ago, and have been a fan ever since. Besides concealing redness, Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer can also be used under you eyes to hide dark circles and other skin discolorations.

Keep in mind though that the concealer does not blend easily. You simply apply to the discolored area, and then cover your face with your regular foundation for the proper flawless finish.

Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer will last all day long on your skin. It’s a true star in my opinion, and the only concealer I use to hide redness and dark spots under my eyes.

Recommendation:

Everyone. Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer can also be used on Rosacea.
