Review – Sony Bud Style Headphones

Ear Buds, Headphones, Skullcandy

Sony has been making headphones for what seems like forever so it wasn’t too surprising that I found a pair of earbuds from sony that were super cheap but were great replacements for my standard iPod headphones and Skullcandy Ink’d buds that I had previously. The Sony Bud Style Headphones are comfortable, affordable, and give great sound quality and clarity.

When you first look at these buds you will wonder how these will ever stay or even so much as fit in a human ear. Let me assure you that when I first got them I wondered the exact same thing. Once I figured out how to put them on they were very comfortable and fit very well even for their odd appearance. They have a perfect length cord which is not too long or too short and have a right angle connection which I really love when I use them on my MacBook which has its headphone port on the right side so the connector keeps the plug from sticking out to far.

What I really love about these headphones is that they give you all the sound clarity and bass response of other ear buds that would cost probably fifty bucks more. When I bought these headphones they were priced at $30 from Best Buy but now on Sony’s online store they are down to $15 bucks! You can’t pass up these headphones at that price, I guarantee you will never want to back to your standard iPod headphones.

The bass, clarity, and balance of these headphones is really great as opposed to the Skullcandy Ink’d buds I had before which although had great sound quality and clarity, lacked in much bass response at all, but at the time they were on sale at FYE for ten bucks so it was a pretty good deal when I bought those. The Sony Bud Style Headphones also come in 4 different colors and are great for running and biking as well. I have used these when going for bike rides and they stay in my ears much better than either the skullcandy’s or my old iPod headphones.

Overall I am very impressed and pleased with the Sony Bud Style Headphones. While they may not be the peak in sound performance. The price for the sound quality is amazing. Give your music a gift and listen to it right, grab yourself a pair of these great, affordable headphones.
