Headphones can be a little bulky and not portable, so earbuds is a common choice used by people of all ages. However, not all earbuds are created equally and it can be really hard to choose the right ones. Being a frequent earbud buyer, I can tell you which earbuds work the best for your active life style. 1. Apple Earphones

The standard Apple earphones are favored by a lot of people. It comes with any iPod you buy and isn’t that bad for listening to your favorite jams on the go. The sound quality isn’t the best though, but the slick white color and portability makes it a product everyone can enjoy. You can order standard Apple Earphones here.

4. Beats by Dre: Tours

I usually don’t like spending a lot of money on earbuds, but I made one exception. I own both the iBeats and the Tours version of the Beats by Dre line-up, and I can honestly say that the Tours are so much better. It has a feature I think every pair of earbuds should have: a flat cable. What the flat cable does is make it virtually tangle free. How long have you spent trying to untangle your earbuds after it being thrown into your backpack? While the sound quality is great, the cord is what made me fall in love with it. The only real con of these earbuds is they are very pricey. I would recommend checking out other earbuds before you spend over $100 on these. You can order them here.

5. Philips ActionFit SHQ1000/28 In-Ear Headphones

These are probably the best earbuds I ever owned. I have problems with earbuds staying in my ears, and when I finally get them in, they always fall out. These earbuds are designed specifically to stay in your ear. No matter how much I move or shake my head, they don’t fall off. The sound quality is very good, has very pounding bass and is very durable. I’ve dropped, swung, wrapped around my iPod countless times and they still are holding up, 6 months after I bought them. Even if they did break or I misplaced them, they are only $20. You can buy them at most retail stores or online. If you would like to purchase a pair, you can buy them here.
