Review: Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack

Water Toys

Are you looking for an expensive water toy for a large group of children to enjoy during the summer. Well, you might want to give a close look to the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack. It is one of those inflatable water park toys that have become popular among children in recent years. The only thing I would caution you about the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack is that it is not one of those cheap water toys. This one will cost you $500. If you don’t live near a water park you can take the children too though, it might be worth the cost.

Even though this is an inflatable toy, the inflation of the over ten foot high Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack only takes about 10-15 minutes on average. Or at least that is how long it took when we visited a family friend who had decided to purchase this as an entertainment option for the children during the summer.

The Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack is probably best for children in the four to eight year old age group, despite the manufacturer’s suggestion for five to ten year olds. The older kids will get bored with the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack very quickly.

The part of the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack that got the most attention when we went over to my friend’s house the other weekend with the kids was the 10 foot slide. For the children that were waiting for their turn on the slide, or didn’t want to climb up it there are water guns attached to the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack which they can use to shoot water at the children sliding down the slide. This is great for spring and summer fun as it keeps the kids cool.

Of course they will need to cool down after climbing up to the 10 foot slide. To get to the slide the children climb on the inflatable toy up what is similar to a rock climbing wall that you see at many of the inflatable toy places where kids go for entertainment. There is a rope and footholds to help the kids climb up to the slide.

Once you go down the slide there is a splash area with between one and two feet of water for the kids to play in. There is also a tunnel that the kids can hide in, it helped them escape the aim of the other kids with the water guns.

Honestly, my children and the others at the recent cookout we attended loved the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack. It’s a great opportunity for your kids not only to cool off, but to get some exercise as well. Of course it is not for everyone though, as that price of close to $500 is a bit steep for what it is. If you want to purchase one, I suggest seeing if you can get a few parents in the neighborhood to chip in with you and share it to help lower the cost. In the end, once it is set up all the kids from the neighborhood will want to come and play on the Sidewinder Falls with Banzai Fun Pack.
