I found Necco Haviland Real Chocolate Covered Thin Mints while Christmas shopping. I had never heard of this brand of candy or tried it before. The promise of real chocolate, the fact that I love really thin mints and the low price of this product all gave me the courage to try this candy.
Necco Haviland Real Chocolate Covered Thin Mints are in a small box. They cost around one dollar. You get twenty of the best tasting real chocolate covered mints for that price. The picture of this product, on the outside of the box, looks wonderful and is very close to the actual appearance of the chocolate mints. They are the perfect size! I could tell that much detail and attention went into the making of this fine product. For the money, they are a good bargain. These chocolate covered mints are delicious!
Necco Haviland Real Chocolate Covered Thin Mints have sugar, bittersweet chocolate, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, butter oil, soy, corn syrup, peppermint oil and egg whites in them. They are made by the New England Confectionery Company in Revere, MA. I was unfamiliar with the company but, I am glad that I took a chance and tried this candy. I bought several boxes for stocking stuffers and left one in my stocking ,also. I was truly delighted when I tried these chocolate covered mints. They really were heavenly. I am a mint and chocolate lover, so, for me, this product is an excellent find. The real chocolate flavor was rich and wonderful. The amount of mint in this product was perfect. I could not have picked a better candy. I liked these chocolate covered mints better than York or Andes, which are my usual brands of chocolate covered mints. Necco Haviland Real Chocolate Covered Thin Mints blew the competition away, in my opinion. This candy has an old fashioned and bakery quality taste to them. You can tell that they are special, when you eat them. They made me feel spoiled. I love this candy!
