Have you ever been frustrated looking at your leather couch that your cat has scratched? If you are not familiar with orange oil, it is an essential oil that is produced by glands inside the rind of an orange fruit. I had a friend that tried this on her leather couch and she had great results. She just put some of the orange oil on the scratch and wiped it with a soft cloth and she the minor scratches went away. Olive oil is another product that you may already have in your house. I tested this on a minor scratch on our leather couch and it worked great. I added a little olive oil to the minor scratch and let it soak in for a little while and wiped it with a cloth and the minor scratch was gone.

Shoe polish is another great way to try and remove your minor scratches from your leather couch. Shoe polishes come in many different colors that you can choose from. Just rub it in with a soft cloth and keep applying until your reach your desire results. You can find shoe polish anywhere shoes are sold.

Old English oil is another product that is easily available in grocery stores for purchase. Just put a small amount onto the minor scratch let it soak in a little and wipe with a soft cloth to remove the scratch.

If your scratch is a little more than minor or has a tear in it, then you may want to purchase a leather repair kit. They also have some great leather cleaning products as well as conditioners for your leather couch.
