ReliOn Cool Mist Humidifier

Sudafed

Several weeks back, I wound up with a slight sinus infection that was really bad for a few days and then seemed to persist throughout the rest of the winter. As a side effect of the infection, I would get really congested at night and that would cause me to snore through the night.

This, of course, didn’t sit too well with my wife. She tolerated it for a couple of days but, after not getting a good night’s sleep for almost a week, resorted to sending me out on the couch. And, after trying everything from nasal strips to Sudafed with no results, told me I would be staying out there until we found a solution.

That’s when I remembered my daughter. As an infant in our old apartment, she would have trouble sleeping at night because she would get stuffed up. We corrected her problem with a humidifier and I realized that might just be the answer for me.

I purchased the ReliOn Cool Mist Humidifier for $19.97 at Wal-mart and it provided instant results. Since running it in our bedroom, I have not snored once and our marriage is back on solid footing.

Unlike the humidifier we had used in our daughter’s room, the ReliOn uses much better technology that prevents a lot of the problems we had before.

For example, our old humidifier used to blow out a cool steam-like mist which, if we got too close to a wall, would end up leaving a water spot. The ReliOn Cool Mist Humidifier doesn’t do that and instead blows out a cool air, like a fan, that has just enough water in it. In fact, until I read the book about it, I wondered if it was even working.

Our old humidifier also used to use up the water inside regardless of whether there was enough moisture in the air. This resulted in us having to fill it constantly and having to shut it down in the middle of the night because it was empty. The ReliOn humidifier continues to run but, if the air is already damp, it won’t use as much water. I’ve been running it for the past two weeks and still haven’t had to fill it. This also means I don’t have to clean the filter as much either.

I also like just how easy it is to fill the humidifier. Whenever I need to add water, it’s as easy as removing the tank and turning on the faucet. If the filter needs to be replaced, that is also very easy to do and will only take about five minutes.

An added plus is just how quiet the ReliOn is. Unless we turn it to its highest setting, we can barely hear it.

The ReliOn Cool Mist Humidifier is the best $20 I’ve ever spent. Not only did it save my marriage, it gave us a product that will last us for some time.
