Don’t let added strains on the economy ruin your entertainment budget! Seek out Regal movie theaters in Knoxville to save (or splurge) on the latest great movies.

With the Regal Entertainment Group, you can get free popcorn, soft drinks, and even movie tickets simply by scanning your card. It works like a Food City ValuCard, but provides extra entertainment perks instead of groceries, which makes it a great decision for movie-goers on a budget.

There are five Regal movie theaters in Knoxville, TN. All five movie theaters offer military pricing at $7.50 per ticket with photo ID. One way to save money while movie-going is to attend a matinee, which is any movie showing before 6pm. Going to the matinee will save $2.25 per ticket at any Knoxville Regal movie theater, which can really add up over time or with a large group. You can also save money by going to the theater closest to your home or workplace, which is why the five theaters below are listed in order from East to West Knoxille.

The Regal Knoxville Center 10 is inside the Knoxville East Town Mall, which provides added convenience if you’re also in the mood to check out the latest in stimulus savings before or after the movie. Also, the food court and surrounding restaurants can satisfy many tastes without wasting gas money.

The Regal Riviera Stadium 8 in downtown Knoxville is a prime movie theater location if you love the Market Square scene. This movie theater is especially great for students, since it is the only Knoxville Regal movie theater offering student pricing at $7.00 per ticket. The atmosphere is perfect for a date and is especially breathtaking at night under the stars and city lights.

The Regal West Town Mall 9 is inside the Knoxville West Town Mall, which places it in the center of a one-stop shopping Mecca and in the heart of West Knoxville.

The Regal Downtown West Cinema 8 is located close to the Knoxville West Town Mall and Kingston Pike, but provides a location slightly away from the chaotic mall traffic. Check out Google Maps for the best in back road access.

The Regal Pinnacle Stadium 18 & IMAX at Turkey Creek is a little more pricey that the other four, but is definitely worth the occasional splurge. It has the most expensive adult ticket price at $9.25, which is a quarter above the prices for the other four movie theaters. Also, this movie theater ties with the Regal Riviera Stadium 8 for the most expensive child, senior, and matinee tickets, which are each a quarter higher than the prices of the remaining three Knoxville Regal movie theaters.

The Regal Pinnacle Stadium 18 & IMAX does boast an IMAX, which makes the experience vastly larger than a regular movie theater could provide. The IMAX prices are more expensive for the regular movie theater at $14.25 for adults and $11.50 for children and seniors. Also, 3-D viewings may have an added fee.
